To be eligible for Georgetown University’s supplier diversity efforts, a business must satisfy at least one of the diverse business classifications or be classified as a local community business.

| Hispanic Owned | 51% owned and operated by a Hispanic American individual with U.S. citizenship. |
| Women Owned | 51% owned and operated by a female individual with U.S. citizenship. |
| Asian Owned | 51% owned and operated by an Asian American individual with U.S. citizenship. |
| Veteran Owned | 51% owned and operated by a Veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces with U.S. citizenship. |
| Service Disabled Veteran | 51% owned and operated by a Service Disabled Veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces with U.S. citizenship. |
