User Setup
Before you can access the Adaptive Planning worklet in GMS, you must first request the appropriate User Roles in GMS . Use this mapping guide to determine which role combination best fits your needs.

They may enter plan values for the cost center hierarchy for which they have access.
They may run reports and dashboards, and export data for which they have access.
They may complete tasks assigned to them.
These contributors will not have the ability to see/access sheets tied to objects flagged as salary data, so personnel models will not be available.

OfficeConnect
Workday’s Adaptive Planning tool is set up to extract data into Microsoft Excel by using the OfficeConnect plug-in. From there, users can build out custom reports and link the data so that it updates automatically whenever they refresh the report.
At this time, OfficeConnect is only available for Microsoft users; the plug-in does not work for Mac users. Several training videos are available to help you get started.
