Punchout
The punchout system, available in GMS , allows users to seamlessly transition to external vendor websites to make purchases at pricing Georgetown has negotiated. Punchout purchases bill directly to your department’s worktags, and no credit card is needed. Users can purchase from Staples, Apple, Amazon and more through the punchout system.
Master Service Agreements (MSA)
A master service agreement is a contract where the terms and conditions and pricing have been agreed upon by Georgetown and the supplier. Only a quote and a purchase order are needed to proceed with services. MSAs can be used by multiple departments for convenience. An MSA can often be used for catering, gift cards, marketing, branding, event equipment and services, transportation, and more.
Request for Proposal
Strategic Sourcing supports requests for proposals, quotes, and information, which are formal requests to potential suppliers of a good or service.
Requests for Anything (RFx) – Which is right for you?
Sole Source Justification (SSJ)
The SSJ is used instead of competitive bidding when the selected vendor has a specialized uniqueness, compatibility, or technical specifications.
