New Hot Beverage Options: Improve Office Sustainability and Manage Costs

We are pleased to announce that Aramark Refreshments is the new university hot beverage (coffee and tea) provider. Aramark Refreshments brings environmentally sustainable options to our offices and we are writing to share more information on how you can begin to procure these options.
Effective immediately, offices and departments will have access to a range of hot beverage equipment and supply procurement options from Nespresso, Keurig, and other Bean-to-Brew Machines at affordable prices. Offices will also have procurement access to locally roasted coffee products and teas from Southeastern Roastery (new window), Blue’s Coffee and Tea Co (new window)., and Misha’s Coffee House (new window) through Aramark, which were selected based on their quality, service, cost, and responsible sourcing.

Benefits of procuring through this provider:
- Increased access to sustainable hot beverage products and break room supplies including sustainably certified coffee and tea;
- Elimination or significant reduction in monthly equipment rental fees;
- Free enrollment in the Nespresso Pod Recycling (new window) and K-Cycle (new window) programs (for machines procured through this contract);
- Reduced plastic waste due to utilization of more recyclable and compostable materials aligned with zero waste program enhancements; and
- Enhanced supply deliveries and equipment repairs.
