Punchout at Georgetown

Georgetown has a number of self-service “punchouts” or direct purchasing solutions available. Punchouts are an easy way to order things like supplies and technology without a procard.

We have punchout systems available for:

  • Staples Business Advantage (office supplies)
  • Amazon
  • Staples Technology Solutions (Laptops and Desktops)
  • Apple – laptops
  • CDWG – technology
  • Steelcase – Dancker (office furniture)
  • Grainger (industrial supplies)
  • AT&T
  • Verizon
  • Fisher Scientific (lab supplies)
  • VWR (lab supplies)

General Instructions

  1. Sign in to GMS
  2. Navigate to “Purchases”
  3. Select “Connect to supplier website”
  4. Confirm your shipping address and department worktages
  5. Select the supplier you’d like to purchase from
  6. Shop for items – you will be navigated out of GMS and into the supplier’s e-commerce interface
  7. Checkout from your shopping cart – you will be navigated back to GMS
  8. Enter spend and allocation info.
  9. Done! The purchase will now navigate for finance officer review.
