ANNOUNCEMENT: Expedited Requests for Proposal (RFP) for Federally Funded Programs
For any federally funded program that has an urgent competitive bidding need where an SSJ may not be sufficient (i.e. high dollar purchase), Strategic Sourcing has a mechanism in place to support expedited RFPs. If any of your colleagues/departments need assistance with an expedited RFP, email sourcing@georgetown.edu .
The Strategic Sourcing Department is here to support schools, departments, and stakeholders in acquiring products and services for Georgetown University. We are responsible for Master Service Agreements, Sole Source Justifications, and other major purchasing efforts.
We recommend you reach out to us about all purchases $50k and over that are not through a preferred supplier.
Punchout systems allow users to purchase goods through the GMS portal and charge directly to department worktags. No credit card or contract required.
Preferred Suppliers
Preferred Suppliers already have established contracts with Georgetown for your use. Select from the list, gather a quote, and request a purchase order to work with a preferred supplier quickly and easily.
RFPs are used for formal competitive bidding for complex and/or high value services. Learn about when an RFP is appropriate and how our team can help you.
Sole Source Justifications (SSJ)
You can request a Sole Source Justification (SSJ) in lieu of the competitive bidding requirement when you have a pre-selected supplier. Submit the request form.
Supplier Diversity
To diversify our supplier base, Georgetown University Supplier Diversity program educates and encourages small and diverse suppliers to compete for university business opportunities.
